Dealers receive manufacturer's certificates of origin (also known as manufacturer's statement of origin - MCO / MSO) with new units.  MSOs may only be issued to licensed franchised dealers.  It is the dealer's responsibility to sign the MSO over to the end-user.

 

Individual buyers please beware!  Do not buy a scooter or motorcycle from someone who does not hold the title to it!  You will NOT be able to get it titled and registered without one of the following: 1) for a new unit, a properly executed MSO signed over to you by the dealer along with your bill of sale, or 2) for a used unit, a valid title signed over to you by the seller along with a bill of sale.  Buying a scooter is just like buying a car.  Please protect yourself!

 

Please note: we cannot legally provide you with a new MSO unless you are the dealer who purchased the unit from us.  If a replacement MSO is required by a dealer, there is a $50 replacement fee.
